Just finished this one. The book is "The Pocket Aquinas" edited by Vernon J. Bourke, published in 1960. Oil on canvas mounted on board, 10 x 14 in (25.4 x 35.5 cm).

How do I post a work for sale?

1. First make sure it meets all the criteria for inclusion in the gallery.
2. Next, post a photo of the artwork.
3. Your post should include the size, media and title of the work.
4. You should provide all the details necessary for someone to buy the work (for example, a link to an eBay auction, or link to your store, or a price and your email address)

Once a work has been sold, please change the post to mark it sold and leave it up in the gallery.

How do I post from my Flickr account?

First you need a blogger account which you can get here. Then you have be added as a team member to the Art Real blog. The you need to go here and set up Art Real as one of your blogs.

How do I join Art Real as an artist?

If you are a realist artist and your work meets the criteria for inclusion, send an email to dave.gray@gmail.com, with links to samples of your work (No attachments!).

What is Art Real?

Art Real is an art movement that could most easily be described as modern realism.

It's also an online artist's community that sells modern realist works directly to the public.

The Art Real Gallery exhibits works that meet the following criteria:
1. Artists are peer-reviewed by the members of the group before admittance
2. All works exhibited are offered for sale online, direct to the public
3. All works are original, one-of-a-kind pieces (no prints or other mass-produced work)
